Jennyzen (Jae) Santiago – PT, MPT
Jennyzen C. Santiago, PT, MPT received her BS in Psychology from the University of California, Davis with an emphasis in Biology, and her Master of Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach. Jennyzen is experienced in caring for patients of all ages, with various orthopedic and sports related injuries. Jennyzen specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy, indicated for most post-partum women or women suffering from pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, diastasis recti abdominis, and pelvic girdle dysfunction. For this, she is currently working to receive her Women’s Health Clinical Certification. Through her skilled administration of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training, Jennyzen is a valuable member of the OSR team. In her free time she enjoys working out, yoga and surfing the north shore.
Regina Lavelle – MPT, DAC
Originally from New York, Regina graduated from Long Island University with a B.S. in Health Science and M.S. in Physical Therapy. She also graduated from Oriental Medical Institute of Hawaii with certificate in acupuncture. She later went on to receive her Doctorate in Acupuncture.
Currently Regina is certified in Emotional Freedom Technique. She has also had experience as a certified aquatic therapist. In her free time, Regina enjoys traveling the world.
James McMahon – PT, DPT
James McMahon PT, DPT received his Bachelors of Science from Northern Illinois University with a minor in Chemistry. After working as a nutritional chemist and microbiologist for 3 years he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of St. Augustine. His passion for the physical therapy started at a young age when his younger sister with cerebral palsy went through physical therapy and he grew to love the profession, as it was the key factor for his sister walking unassisted. James’ career grew to include Pediatrics, Sports Medicine, Neurological Vestibular disorders, Strength and Conditioning, and Orthopedic Physical Therapy. In his personal time, James enjoys spending time hiking, beach volleyball, snowboarding, and playing baseball.
Rylie Pfledderer – PT, DPT
Rylie Pfledderer PT, DPT received her BS in Kinesiology from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Trine University. Rylie is experienced in caring for patients with various orthopedic conditions as well as sport related injuries and vestibular rehabilitation. Due to her passion for sports and orthopedics, she plans on working towards receiving her CSCS certification and becoming specialized in orthopedics in the near future. In her personal time, Rylie enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active outdoors, traveling, and exploring new adventures.
Ewa Mazurek – PT, DPT
Ewa Mazurek PT, DPT received her BS in Kinesiology and Movement Science from University of Illinois in Chicago (2012) and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sage Graduate School in Troy, New York (2016). She is originally from Poland and emigrated to the US with her family to the Chicago area in 2000. Having traveled frequently throughout her life both in Europe and across the US she chose to pursue the Travel Therapy route. Over the past five years she has traveled cross country working various therapy settings from acute care to outpatient orthopedics, eventually settling down in the beautiful island of Oahu. Her passion is in orthopedics, pain science and neuromuscular re-education and improving patient understanding of pain to restore their functional mobility as well as quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, skiing, hiking, snorkeling and lounging on the beach.
Angela (Andi) Pepper – LPTA
Originally from Atlanta GA, Angela moved to the US Virgin Islands in pursuit of a Marine Biology degree where she developed a passion for health and wellness. She maintains eight group and wellness certifications to include certified nutritionist, Spinning and Yoga instructor. She has been a personnel trainer for select military units for the last 16 years. While living in Virginia, Angela earned her Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant graduating top of the class. She’s added the Graston Technique to her list of certifications to provide her Physical Therapy patients with soft-tissue instrument-assisted mobilization. Angela enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, hiking, water activities and has a passion for travel.
Dionne Higbee – LPTA
Dionne hails from the small town of Sidney which is located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia Canada. She received her Bachelor’s in Applied Science from Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, VA in 2007. Since that time, she has worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a variety of rehabilitation settings, to include; acute care, inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, cardiac and sports rehabilitation. Dionne is a certified provider of the Graston Technique where she utilizes instruments to treat soft tissue injury. She enjoys taking continuing education courses to acquire new skills, help patients return to previous levels of function, and achieve their own personal goals. She has a true passion for helping her patients and she strives to educate them on their injury or condition while providing them with the tools they need to reach their goals. Dionne believes patient education is the key to successful rehabilitation.
Dionne and her family recently moved to Hawaii and are enjoying all Oahu has to offer. She especially enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, body boarding, snorkeling, swimming, sailing and exploring new adventures throughout the islands.
Amber Gluth – LPTA
Amber moved to Hawaii from Texas in July 2019 and is originally from Pennsylvania. Amber worked in the Pediatric field for over 6 years and has a lot of neurological based experience. She also has a high interest in sports orthopedics. Amber is currently furthering her education online, in hopes of going into research and possibly becoming a Physical Therapist one day. In her freetime, Amber enjoys running, lifting weights and exploring Hawaii. She has yet to try surfing but hopes to change that soon. Amber also loves face timing with her niece and nephews. She enjoys BBQ, Acai bowls and Ahi Tuna Sashimi. Amber is excited to be a part of the OSR team!
Katrina Balman – LPTA
Katrina moved to beautiful Oahu from Kansas City after receiving her Physical Therapist Assistant education and certification. The majority of Katrina’s work as a PTA has emphasized orthopedic rehabilitation for all ages. One of her passions is helping people safely return to their favorite activities. In her spare time, Katrina enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, and discovering new foods. The Maunawili waterfall hike has become one of her favorite places on the island, and she is always looking for new places to discover.
Kathleen-Ann Guerrero – LPTA
Kathleen moved to Hawaii in January 2020 from her hometown of Virginia Beach, VA. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences from James Madison University she decided to explore the field of health and wellness because of her passion for exercise and helping others. While working on becoming a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, Kathleen worked as a Certified Personal Trainer and CrossFit Trainer. Her therapy experience spans from general orthopedics for all ages, sports rehabilitation, and geriatric rehabilitation. In her spare time Kathleen enjoys an active lifestyle of working out, being outdoors especially at the beach, and hiking around the island.
Stacy Henrikson – LPTA
Stacy is originally from St. Louis, MO and has traveled and worked in multiple states such as MO, NM, FL, AL and now HI, with her husband who is Active Duty Air Force. She has been enjoying life on Oahu since July 2020! She received her BS in Psychology at Rockhurst University with a minor in Theology. She then went on to pursue her AS in Physical Therapy at Penn Valley College where she was president of her class and graduated in the top of her class. She grew up with a passion for sports and athletics, playing softball and basketball her whole childhood. She has worked in a variety of settings throughout her career, specializing in Orthopedics, Geriatric Care and Stroke Rehab. She has a love for helping people feel better and empowering them to be the best person they can be, so PT fits in her life perfectly! Stacy has completed the Functional Movement Training Series (FMT) and is certified in Rocktape application that will help improve movement and enhance function for her patients. She has also received certifications from the APTA as a Certified Student Mentor and has helped many future PTA students excel in their clinical settings. In her freetime, she enjoys spending time with her family, crossfit, paddleboarding, snorkeling, playing the piano, playing softball and volunteering in the community.
Mika Gorgonio – LMT
Mika Gorgonio was born and raised here on the beautiful island of Oahu. She received her Bachelors in Speech Communication with foci in Non-verbal Communication, Intercultural Communication and Conflict Management. Mika then attended Hawaii Healing Arts, received her license then immediately started working at Oahu Spine and Rehab.
Mika enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and 3 beautiful girls. She also loves to work out, Judo, and helping other parents take care of themselves so they can take care of their kids.
Jason Chong – LMT
Jason Chong was born and raised on the beautiful Windward side of Oahu in Kaneohe. Jason graduated from Creighton University with his BS in Biology. He then attended massage school at East-West College of Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon. Jason specializes in different massage techniques such as: Acupressure, Shiatsu, Lomilomi, Sports MET and Hot Stones.
Jason enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, Kung Fu, and Chinese Lion Dancing.
