Dr. Henry Lew MD, PhD – Medical Director
Dr. Henry Lew, MD, PhD is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). Dr. Lew completed his PM&R residency and fellowship training at the University of Washington in 2000. He served as Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University, Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, and has been a Professor at University of Hawaii School of Medicine since 2010.
Dr. Lew has published 140 scientific articles and authored 5 textbooks, which provide current evidence for physician’s daily clinical practice. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment/rehabilitation of painful conditions in the musculoskeletal system (including pain in the back, neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle), and disorders of the nervous system (including carpal tunnel syndrome, headache, and spasticity from brain injury).
Dr. Mary Adey – D.C.
Dr. Mary Adey was born and raised in Minnesota. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Biology, she went on to Chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota. Dr. Adey is passionate about treating the body as a whole and inspiring people of all ages to live a healthy lifestyle.
She has a special interest in women’s health as well as pediatrics. With that, her goal is to help people get well and inspire them to make healthy lifestyle choices to stay well. In her free time,
Dr. Adey enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 year old daughter and dog.
Jeanna M Bender – MSN, FNP-C
Jeanna is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Born and raised in Iowa, Jeanna completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Grand View College (now Grand View University) in Des Moines, IA. She worked several years in ICU, Cardiac Cath and Cardiac Rehab. After moving to Yuma Arizona she completed her Masters in Nursing and worked as an administrator for Yuma Regional Medical Center and Yuma Rehabilitation Hospital. She then completed her Certification in Family Nurse Practitioner through the University of Arizona. Jeanna had the privilege of working for the VA for several years in Iowa before deciding to move to Hawaii. She loves a holistic approach to caring for herself as well as her patients. Currently she is working toward her Nurse Coach Certification. Jeanna has experience in and a strong continued interest in delivering care that is valuable to her clients in a way that empowers them. She seeks to help patients find ways to deal with pain they are experiencing and help them along the healing process. She feels it is extremely important that patients understand that they are the most important part of the medical team and we will all work together to lead them to a healthier life.
Jeanna enjoys spending time with her husband Phil . They both enjoy fishing and snorkeling, She also loves music. Some of her favorite memories are performing with her Sweet Adenines chorus and quartet in Iowa.
Jennyzen (Jae) Santiago – P.T., MPT
Jennyzen C. Santiago, PT, MPT received her BS in Psychology from the University of California, Davis with an emphasis in Biology, and her Master of Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach. Jennyzen is experienced in caring for patients of all ages, with various orthopedic and sports related injuries. Jennyzen specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy, indicated for most post-partum women or women suffering from pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, diastasis recti abdominis, and pelvic girdle dysfunction. For this, she is currently working to receive her Women’s Health Clinical Certification. Through her skilled administration of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training, Jennyzen is a valuable member of the OSR team. In her free time she enjoys working out, yoga and surfing the north shore.
Regina Lavelle – MPT, DAC
Originally from New York, Regina graduated from Long Island University with a B.S. in Health Science and M.S. in Physical Therapy. She also graduated from Oriental Medical Institute of Hawaii with certificate in acupuncture. She later went on to receive her Doctorate in Acupuncture.
Currently Regina is certified in Emotional Freedom Technique. She has also had experience as a certified aquatic therapist. In her free time, Regina enjoys traveling the world.
Adam Taylor – P.T., DPT, CSCS
Adam Taylor, PT, DPT, CSCS received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from The University of Mississippi. After joining the U.S. Army as an Officer, he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Baylor University. His passion for Physical Therapy grew as he worked with wounded warriors, amputees and deployed servicemembers in the Middle East. Adam’s career grew to include Sports Medicine, Strength and Conditioning, and Orthopedic Physical Therapy. In his personal time, Adam enjoys spending time with his Ohana, helping his Church Family, physique training and fabricating custom vehicles.
Holli Finneren – P.T., DPT
Holli Finneren PT, DPT received her BS in Exercise Science – Kinesiology with a minor in psychology from Georgia Southern University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from The George Washington University. Holli has vast experience working with diverse patient populations – including elite/professional level athletes through the active older adult population. Holli holds certifications in Active Release Technique, Functional Movement Screening, Trigger Point Release, TRX for Rehabilitation Professionals and Concussion management. Holli enjoys working with patients of all levels and with orthopedic and sport related injuries with a special interest in treating endurance athletes. Through her experience, knowledge, and training Holli works closely with each patient to develop an individualized plan of care in order improve function, decrease pain, and provide a full return to activity.
In her personal time Holli competes as an elite triathlete on the Ironman circuit as well as coaches other athletes. Holli has completed 11 full distance Ironman Triathlons, including 2x at the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. She enjoys spending time relaxing, working out, and adventuring with her fiance, Andrew.
Angela (Andi) Pepper – LPTA
Originally from Atlanta GA, Angela moved to the US Virgin Islands in pursuit of a Marine Biology degree where she developed a passion for health and wellness. She maintains eight group and wellness certifications to include certified nutritionist, Spinning and Yoga instructor. She has been a personnel trainer for select military units for the last 16 years. While living in Virginia, Angela earned her Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant graduating top of the class. She’s added the Graston Technique to her list of certifications to provide her Physical Therapy patients with soft-tissue instrument-assisted mobilization. Angela enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, hiking, water activities and has a passion for travel.
Dionne Higbee – LPTA
Dionne hails from the small town of Sidney which is located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia Canada. She received her Bachelor’s in Applied Science from Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, VA in 2007.
Since that time, she has worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a variety of rehabilitation settings, to include; acute care, inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, cardiac and sports rehabilitation. Dionne is a certified provider of the Graston Technique where she utilizes instruments to treat soft tissue injury. She enjoys taking continuing education courses to acquire new skills, help patients return to previous levels of function, and achieve their own personal goals. She has a true passion for helping her patients and she strives to educate them on their injury or condition while providing them with the tools they need to reach their goals. Dionne believes patient education is the key to successful rehabilitation.
Dionne and her family recently moved to Hawaii and are enjoying all Oahu has to offer. She especially enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, body boarding, snorkeling, swimming, sailing and exploring new adventures throughout the islands.
Amber Gluth – LPTA
Amber moved to Hawaii from Texas in July 2019 and is originally from Pennsylvania. Amber worked in the Pediatric field for over 6 years and has a lot of neurological based experience. She also has a high interest in sports orthopedics. Amber is currently furthering her education online, in hopes of going into research and possibly becoming a Physical Therapist one day.
In her freetime, Amber enjoys running, lifting weights and exploring Hawaii. She has yet to try surfing but hopes to change that soon. Amber also loves face timing with her niece and nephews. She enjoys BBQ, Acai bowls and Ahi Tuna Sashimi. Amber is excited to be a part of the OSR team!
Mika Gorgonio – LMT
Mika Gorgonio was born and raised here on the beautiful island of Oahu. She received her Bachelors in Speech Communication with foci in Non-verbal Communication, Intercultural Communication and Conflict Management. Mika then attended Hawaii Healing Arts, received her license then immediately started working at Oahu Spine and Rehab.
Mika enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and 3 beautiful girls. She also loves to work out, Judo, and helping other parents take care of themselves so they can take care of their kids.
Jason Chong – LMT
Jason Chong was born and raised on the beautiful Windward side of Oahu in Kaneohe. Jason graduated from Creighton University with his BS in Biology. He then attended massage school at East-West College of Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon. Jason specializes in different massage techniques such as: Acupressure, Shiatsu, Lomilomi, Sports MET and Hot Stones.
Jason enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, Kung Fu, and Chinese Lion Dancing.
Sean Hasegawa – LMT
Sean Hasegawa was born and raised in Aiea, Oahu. He received his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from UH Manoa and completed massage school from Kapiolani Community College. Sean feels very passionate about the healing process our patients go through and enjoys being part of the progress.
In Sean’s spare time he likes to play football, volleyball and basketball. Sean is also very involved with his church and plays the drums for their band.
