Dr. Mary Adey - DC

Dr. Mary Adey – DC

Dr. Mary Adey was born and raised in Minnesota. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Biology, she went on to Chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota. Dr. Adey is passionate about treating the body as a whole and inspiring people of all ages to live a healthy lifestyle. She has a special interest in women’s health and enjoys working with pregnant moms helping them through all stages of pregnancy. In her free time, Dr. Adey enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters going to the beach and enjoying outdoor activities.

Jennyzen (Jae) Santiago - PT, MPT

Jennyzen (Jae) Santiago – PT, MPT

Jennyzen C. Santiago, PT, MPT received her BS in Psychology from the University of California, Davis with an emphasis in Biology, and her Master of Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach. Jennyzen is experienced in caring for patients of all ages, with various orthopedic and sports related injuries. Jennyzen specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy, indicated for most post-partum women or women suffering from pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, diastasis recti abdominis, and pelvic girdle dysfunction. For this, she is currently working to receive her Women’s Health Clinical Certification. Through her skilled administration of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training, Jennyzen is a valuable member of the OSR team. In her free time she enjoys working out, yoga and surfing the north shore.

Regina Lavelle - MPT, DAC

Regina Lavelle – MPT, DAC

Originally from New York, Regina graduated from Long Island University with a B.S. in Health Science and M.S. in Physical Therapy. She also graduated from Oriental Medical Institute of Hawaii with certificate in acupuncture. She later went on to receive her Doctorate in Acupuncture.

Currently Regina is certified in Emotional Freedom Technique. She has also had experience as a certified aquatic therapist. In her free time, Regina enjoys traveling the world.

Rylie Pfledderer -  PT, DPT

Rylie Pfledderer – PT, DPT

Rylie Pfledderer PT, DPT received her BS in Kinesiology from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Trine University. Rylie is experienced in caring for patients with various orthopedic conditions as well as sport related injuries and vestibular rehabilitation. Due to her passion for sports and orthopedics, she plans on working towards receiving her CSCS certification and becoming specialized in orthopedics in the near future. In her personal time, Rylie enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active outdoors, traveling, and exploring new adventures.

Ewa Mazurek -  PT, DPT

Ewa Mazurek – PT, DPT

Ewa Mazurek PT, DPT received her BS in Kinesiology and Movement Science from University of Illinois in Chicago (2012) and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sage Graduate School in Troy, New York (2016). She is originally from Poland and emigrated to the US with her family to the Chicago area in 2000. Having traveled frequently throughout her life both in Europe and across the US she chose to pursue the Travel Therapy route. Over the past five years she has traveled cross country working various therapy settings from acute care to outpatient orthopedics, eventually settling down in the beautiful island of Oahu. Her passion is in orthopedics, pain science and neuromuscular re-education and improving patient understanding of pain to restore their functional mobility as well as quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, skiing, hiking, snorkeling and lounging on the beach.

Collin Smay -  PT, DPT

Collin Smay – PT, DPT

Collin Smay was born and raised in a small town in the PA mountains outside of Pittsburgh. He attended Penn State University where he studied kinesiology and furthered his academic career at Chatham University where he earned hs doctorate in physical therapy. Collin obtained his strength and conditioning specialist certification (CSCS) which enables him to embody fitness for himself and his clients. As an athlete and someone who values fitness, Collin enjoys working with the athletic population. In addition to athletes, Collin enjoys diagnosis where he can utilize his strong background in manual therapy techniques and biomechanics. Hawaii life has offered him the opportunity to play golf year round, enjoy numerous outdoor activities, and discover new foods. Overall, Collin couldn’t be more pleased for the opportunity to escape the snow and live in paradise.

Jaime Shullick -  PT, DPT

Jaime Shullick – PT, DPT

Jaime received her BS in Biology from the University of Virginia and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Hampton University. She is experienced with treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions while utilizing manual therapy techniques as well the Graston Technique to treat soft tissue injuries. She is interested in furthering her education in pelvic floor rehabilitation. A recently certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES), she is excited to apply what she has learned to her postpartum patients! Jaime and her family have recently moved to Oahu, she enjoys hiking, running, and learning to surf. She’s looking forward to turning her young daughters into beach lovers just like her!

Shane Owens -  PT, DPT

Shane Owens – PT, DPT

Shane Owens was born and raised in Wyoming. He received his BS in Exercise science at BYU-Idaho and while attending there he joined the Army National Guard. Shane went on to get his physical therapy degree from the University of St Augustine in Austin, Texas. Shane was introduced to physical therapy in high school when he broke his ankle, and now enjoys helping patients overcome their injuries and getting back to doing activities they love. When he’s not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids doing outdoor activities. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, fishing, camping, and hopes to get better at surfing.

Daniel Wagner -  PT, DPT

Daniel Wagner – PT, DPT

Daniel Wagner PT, DPT was born and raised on Oahu. He received his BS in exercise science with a minor in disability studies from Pacific University and DPT from Creighton University. Daniel is experienced with a wide variety of orthopedic and sports related injuries. Due to his interest in coaching, he will be working towards his CSCS and OCS. He recently completed the part-A lumbar course with the Mckenzie Institute. In his personal time he plays soccer, spends time with family and friends.

Jordyn Watanabe -  PT, DPT

Jordyn Watanabe – PT, DPT

Jordyn Watanabe PT, DPT was born and raised here on the island of Oahu. She received her BS in Exercise Science from Western Oregon University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, IL. Jordyn has experience caring for patients in the outpatient ortho, outpatient neuro, and acute inpatient settings. She is passionate about helping people return to doing the things they need and love to do. Jordyn is especially grateful for the opportunity to serve and give back to her local community. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, staying active, surfing, and eating good food.

Dionne Higbee - PTA

Dionne Higbee – PTA

Dionne hails from the small town of Sidney which is located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia Canada. She received her Bachelor’s in Applied Science from Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, VA in 2007. Since that time, she has worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a variety of rehabilitation settings, to include; acute care, inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, cardiac and sports rehabilitation. Dionne is a certified provider of the Graston Technique where she utilizes instruments to treat soft tissue injury. She enjoys taking continuing education courses to acquire new skills, help patients return to previous levels of function, and achieve their own personal goals. She has a true passion for helping her patients and she strives to educate them on their injury or condition while providing them with the tools they need to reach their goals. Dionne believes patient education is the key to successful rehabilitation.
Dionne and her family recently moved to Hawaii and are enjoying all Oahu has to offer. She especially enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, body boarding, snorkeling, swimming, sailing and exploring new adventures throughout the islands.

Melanie Rodriguez - PTA

Melanie Rodriguez – PTA

Melanie was born and raised in Napa, California, got her B.A. in Graphic Design in London, England, and PTA A.S. degree in Sacramento, CA. Rehabbing injuries as a patient is how she was first introduced to physical therapy. She’s worked primarily in orthopedics, back in California and now here in Oahu. She’s certified in cupping therapy and as a certified yoga instructor. She also enjoys meditation, creative projects, spending time with friends and family, and is learning how to surf.

Fairy Edades – PTA

Fairy was born and raised in Hawaii. She received her Physical Therapist Assistant A.S. degree from Loma Linda University. She has a pretty well-rounded physical therapy background having worked in various settings including Outpatient, Inpatient Acute Hospitals and Rehab, and Skilled Nursing Facilities. Outpatient Rehab has always been Fairy’s passion. Prior to OSR, she had filled a staffing need in Skilled Nursing, working with all types of short-term and long-term patients including orthopedics, geriatrics, neurological rehab, etc. During her days off, she likes to explore the island for new food places. Fairy also enjoys watching sports, especially basketball and football. Her hobbies are anything music related. She loves to sing and can also play the guitar and piano.

Mona Vito - PTA

Mona Vito – PTA

Mona Vito was born and raised in California’s central valley. She received her BS in Kinesiology from Fresno State University and subsequently graduated from Institute of Technology in Clovis earning her Physical Therapist Assistant license. Mona has worked in the industry since 2015 in both inpatient and outpatient settings and is passionate in helping her patients reach their goals and return to doing what they love. In her free time she enjoys hiking, spending time with family and finding new places to eat. She hopes to learn how to surf now that she lives on beautiful Oahu!

Leo Capili - PTA

Leo Capili – PTA

Leo is originally from California and recently relocated to Hawaii to be closer to family and experience Hawaii life. He received his B.S. in Kinesiology from California State University, Fresno and eventually received his Associate’s degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the Institute of Technology in Clovis, California. Prior to receiving his license, Leo had experience in working in both acute care hospitals and outpatient settings which has developed him into the PTA that he is today. Leo enjoys interacting with his patients and knowing that he can make a difference in their lives. He enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach, and currently learning how to play golf. Leo’s new interest is to learn how to surf.

Chelsea Miller - PTA

Chelsea Miller – PTA

Chelsea was born and raised in Butler, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She found her passion in physical therapy following her personal rehabilitation as she separated from the military. She attended Pima Medical Institute in Denver, Colorado to achieve her Associates of Occupational Sciences for Physical Therapist Assistant and began working in the orthopedic outpatient setting. Chelsea is currently studying for her National Academy of Sports Medicine personal training and nutrition.

She is a former athlete, spending much of her childhood playing softball, volleyball, and basketball. Now she stays active by cycling, paddle boarding, lifting, hiking, and spending time with her two young children and dog. After living in Hawaii for just a year, she cannot imagine living back in a cold climate and loves being at the beach every chance she gets.

Mika Gorgonio - LMT

Mika Gorgonio – LMT

Mika Gorgonio was born and raised here on the beautiful island of Oahu. She received her Bachelors in Speech Communication with foci in Non-verbal Communication, Intercultural Communication and Conflict Management. Mika then attended Hawaii Healing Arts, received her license then immediately started working at Oahu Spine and Rehab.

Mika enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and 3 beautiful girls. She also loves to work out, Judo, and helping other parents take care of themselves so they can take care of their kids.

Jason Chong - LMT

Jason Chong – LMT

Jason Chong was born and raised on the beautiful Windward side of Oahu in Kaneohe. Jason graduated from Creighton University with his BS in Biology. He then attended massage school at East-West College of Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon. Jason specializes in different massage techniques such as: Acupressure, Shiatsu, Lomilomi, Sports MET and Hot Stones.

Jason enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, Kung Fu, and Chinese Lion Dancing.

Sara Basso - LMT

Sara Basso – LMT

Sara Basso was born and raised on Oahu, in beautiful Kaneohe. Sara has her Bachelors in Business, and she attended the Hawaii Healing Arts College. After receiving her Massage license Sara found passion in working in a rehabilitation setting helping her community. She enjoys spending her free time with her daughter, going on hikes, or relaxing on the beach.
